Newlywed couple’s bid for dream honeymoon

HAPPY COUPLE: Caroline Ward and Cathy Gerosa.
HAPPY COUPLE: Caroline Ward and Cathy Gerosa.
A BRIDE is battling it out with three other newlyweds to win the ultimate honeymoon.

Caroline Ward, from Sidcup, is hoping her civil partnership ceremony and reception to partner Cathy Gerosa, 52, will help her win a luxury honeymoon.

The 52-year-old is up against three other brides in Four Weddings, a TV show that sees fellow brides scrutinise each other's special day and score them out of 10.

In next Monday's episode on Living TV, Ms Ward's civil partnership is featured with a no-nonsense, laid back house party where guests are asked not to bring gifts but booze for their house party reception.

Her big day is in stark contrast to competitor Tracy Allessendro, from Battersea, whose extravagant £23,000 wedding at London Zoo is complete with a planned animal tour and a llama ride on arrival to greet the guests.

Amanda Platt, 26, a mother of four from Lancashire, has a traditional, down to earth affair with her first dance as the Conga.

Lastly, is strip club manager, Sofi Keenan from South London, who ties the knot in a princess themed wedding and has a 'clubbing' night as a reception.

The cameras follow the competitors from the planning stages to the final party and tension is bound to run high as the women battle it out to pull off the winning wedding and triumph with the ultimate dream getaway.

Everything from dresses

and venues to catering and presentation is praised or pitied by the eager to impress couples, all vying to stage the winning wedding.

The 10-part series is set to culminate with a special celebrity episode, in which four famous faces and their partners go up against one another.

Four Weddings is at 9pm on Living TV, for more information, visit: http://www.living
