A ROCK band is hoping to seal their destiny tomorrow (Friday) night at the launch of their debut album.
The Dirty Reds, whose members hail from Welling, Orpington and Swindon, will be playing at trendy gig venue and pub The Amersham Arms in New Cross from 7.30pm to introduce their first offering Top Floor Madness.
The band has already played at some of London's most prestigious nightspots including the Brixton Jamm and the Islington O2 Academy.
They list The Who, The Beatles, Kasabian and Razorlight as influences and promise a "diverse mix of jangly'Indie and heavy Brit-Rock tunes."
Bassist Tom Minchin, 25, of Lapwood Close, Orpington, said: "Having an album out, available to everyone is brilliant but its just the start. There's more to come and better than what we've done on Top Floor Madness.
Guitarist Stu Tuck, 29, of Northdown Road, Welling, agreed. He added: "I'm very excited, its superb. We've been gigging together for years and we've waited a long time for this album to be released, it's had a great response. That's good so far, we need more exposure to a wider audience. There's material for another album waiting so this is the start. We want more, we hope the guys out there want it to."
