Kids can enjoy storytelling and knot tying lessons aboard HMS Gannet over May half term

Chatham Dockyard are hosting a pirate themed week of fun during the May half term.

Climb on-board the pirate shop the HMS Gannet to hunt for treasure and join storytelling sessions.

The Dockyard ‘maties’ will be telling rales of life at sea, and showing kids how to tie knots, or making them walk the plank.

The pirate ship will be moored next to a ‘cove’ complete with beach, palm trees and a giant deck chair.

HMS Gannet will be available to climb aboard from May 27 to June 4.
