Popular video game expo back for weekend of non-stop gaming

Video game festival Geek has confirmed it is returning to Margate for a three-day event in February.

The popular show focuses on the evolution of gaming, offering more than 1,000 playable video games to play on hundreds of consoles.

They date back from the 1970s to the latest batch of next-generation consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Aside from hundreds of consoles, there are also multi-player opportunities.

Geek (Gaming Expo East Kent) will take place at Margate’s Winter Gardens from February 20-22.

Using the town’s heritage of arcades, it is once again set to attract friends and family to attend the event.

Other activities include board games, workshops, cards, panel discussions, developer talks and tournaments.
