It’ll mark the reopening of the Gravesend Borough Market
GRAVESEND’S Christmas Market will be in its new home this year, as the market hall is open for business this Saturday.
From 3 December, the Christmas Market, previously Fayre on the Square, will be spilling out from the market hall into the High Street, Jury Street and in the Pier Square outside Riva Bar.
There will also be the Hatten Wyatt Express Land Train bringing people down from Windmill Street to join in the fun.
The event will mark the grand re-opening of the Gravesend Borough Market.
The doors will open at 10am and close at 6pm. There will be musical performers reflecting the festive aspect of the day but also music from the eras when the market was at its peak.
Hatten Wyatt will be sponsoring the Hatten Wyatt Express Land Train that will bring shoppers from Windmill Street down the High Street and there are lots of surprises planned throughout the day. There will also be an amazing Santa’s Grotto in Riva Bar and children can write and send their letters to Santa.
The theme for the day is Elves and Candy Canes and we hope lots of our shoppers will join our vendors in dressing up for this special occasion.
