Star-studded line-up to perform in Folkestone and Dartford during October

The latest triple-header Eighties show rolls into Kent this month as Midge Ure, The Christians and Altered Images head in.

The line-up will play at Folkestone’s Leas Cliff Hall on October 19 before Dartford’s Orchard Theatre on October 27.

Former Ultravox frontman Midge Ure will be running through his back catalogue of hits - including the likes of If I Was, Vienna and Fade to Grey.

Meanwhile The Christians will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of their eponymously title debut which spawned a host of hits.

Altered Images, featuring Clare Grogan, will also be playing the likes of Happy Birthday as they take a ride down memory lane.

On the concept of the tour, Midge Ure said: “I want to revisit some material that I’ve not really been able to perform with the recent acoustic line up, so you can expect to hear songs that haven’t been aired for a while as well as the classics and a couple of surprises. I’ve really enjoyed touring with a band and now I want to expand back to a four piece and return to a more electronic based format.

Added Clare Grogan: “It’s been quite some time since I’ve toured so it’s going to be a very special event in my calendar this year - especially as I’m getting to share a stage with the equally mighty Midge Ure and The Christians. We are going to have beautiful music, fun, and in my case maybe some tears and we’ll be taking the whole audience with us.”

Tickets for both shows are on sale now.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.

Who wouldn’t love the chance to go on a shopping spree. Imagine being able to walk into a shop and choose whatever your heart desires without having to worry about how much it costs.
