He’ll also be performing with the Camden Road Choir
Operatic tenor, Thomas Spencer, has a new record out in June, and as part of his tour running alongside it, he’ll be hosting a series of workshops, warm up sessions and performances.
His tour will see him perform alongside Tunbridge Wells’ Camden Road Choir, and Royal Tunbridge Wells’ Orpheus Choir, before his album, The Journey, is released on June 23.
The album was recorded over in LA, where Thomas spent time working closely with Hanz Zimmer’s (Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Inception) studio team. He’s also contributed to such soundtracks as The Life Of Pi, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Kung Fu Panda.
Speaking of the album, Thomas said: “It shows the journey I’ve taken. Sometimes it’s impossible to believe it’s actually happened.
“People told me I couldn’t get anywhere, and though I always had ambition, I had no friends or family with any entertainment experience, everything felt very new.”
Thomas will perform with the Camden Road Choir on June 8 at the Church of Christ on Commercial Road, and with the Orpheus Choir on July 8 at St Peter’s Church on Bayhall Road.
