Welsh singer Aled Jones MBE will be back at the Leeds Castle Classical Concert for a second year running in July.

Aled, who became a household name in the 80s as a boy soprano, will introduce the line-up for the event, run by Heritage Events, which includes the Royal Philharomic Orchestra conducted by John Rigby, the Patriot Girls, soprano Katie Bird, and tenor Anthony Flaum.

Since reaching fame as a child, Aled has gone on to have a career in broadcasting, acting and singing. He now hosts a show on ITV called Weekend on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as BBC daytime series Going Back Giving Back. He also has a radio show on Classic FM every Sunday.

In 2016 he released an album called One Voice, which reached number one in the classical music chart.

Speaking about the event, Aled said: “I am so looking forward to returning to host at this most wonderful castle. The perfect setting for what we all hope will be a beautiful summer’s evening. Here’s to another unforgettable musical event.”

Richard Millward, event director said: “We are so very pleased to have Aled return for a second year. He will be acting more as the event host this year, interacting with the performers on stage and with the audience. Who better to have as the host of the many parties that take place on classical concert night.”

The Leeds Castle Classical Concert takes place on July 8.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.

Who wouldn’t love the chance to go on a shopping spree. Imagine being able to walk into a shop and choose whatever your heart desires without having to worry about how much it costs.
