The Poland Football Association have confirmed that Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has been ruled out of Euro 2012 with a shoulder injury.

The Gunners number two stopper picked up the knock in training ahead of their friendly win over Slovakia on Saturday.

Fabianski, who recently admitted he wanted to leave the north London club, was expected to be understudy to Arsenal’s number one goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny, at the European Championships.
