Transfer news: Douglas could be heading to the Premier League
FC Twente are unsure about the future of Newcastle, Fulham, Aston Villa and West Ham target, Douglas.
The Magpies have made an offer for the 24-year-old but are yet to hear a response.
The Dutch club’s chairman Joop Munsterman has heard conflicting reports from the Brazilian – one week hearing he wants to leave, the next he wants to stay.
“It is unclear what Newcastle United and Douglas want exactly,” Munsterman told De Telegraaf.
“Douglas says he wants to leave one week and the next week he wants to stay.”
