Barnet and Brentford have received byes into the second round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

The Underhill outfit were Southern finalists, beaten by Swindon, after beating the Bees on penalties along the way.

Brentford have been runners up in this competition three times, the most recent of these in 2011, but have yet to taste the overall glory of lifting the trophy.
