Transfer news: Ki Sung-Yueng is insisting that he is not going to sign for the R’s

Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng has strongly denied that he will be joining QPR on Monday.

The R’s have been linked with the 23-year-old South Korea international but the Hoops man is looking forward to the Olympics.

“I heard that QPR will have a press conference on [June] 9 with Korean player but I won’t be there,” Sung-Yueng told reporters.

“I know that QPR showed interest in me but I don’t know what’s going on right now. Anyway, I’m not the player who will attend press conference, it’s 100%.

“I have not decided my future, now is time to focus on [the] Olympics. It’s uncomfortable to see many transfer news about me. I don’t even want to know the stories unless I receive an offer.

“Who would go to QPR? I’m curious. Maybe Lee Chung-Yong or Park Chu-Young?”
