Addicks begin new season in the second City
Newly-promoted Charlton Athletic will open their Championship campaign with a tricky trip to Birmingham City on the opening day of the 2012/13 season.
Chris Powell takes his side to St Andrews on Saturday, August 18, before leading the Addicks out against former club Leicester as second tier football makes it’s first appearance at the Valley on Tuesday, August 21.
Charlton travel to Millwall and Crystal Palace for south London derbies on December 1 and February 2 respectively and finish their season at home to Bristol City on May 4.
