Juan Mata believes that his side can catch the north London duo

Chelsea star Juan Mata believes that Arsenal and Tottenham can be caught before the end of the season.

The Blues closed the gap to Spurs by two points after yesterday’s win against Wigan coupled with the north Londoners draw with Sunderland.

“I think so, I think so,” he said.

“Nothing is impossible in football.

“Tottenham, for example, are closer than one week ago, so we are going to fight until the end of the season.”

The Blues have a congested fixture list with an FA Cup and Champions League semi final.

“With faith, with faith [we can continue to perform well over the next few games],” he added.

“We are in a crucial moment for us. Next week, we are playing in the FA Cup semi-final, Champions League, still fighting for the third and fourth position in the Premier (League).

“The faith, I think, is more important than the muscles or feeling tired.

“So, we are training well to be ready for Monday.”
