Barnet’s new signing Freddie Warren has told fans what to expect from him in the coming season

The former Charlton Athletic midfielder completed his move to Underhill on July 4 and is looking forward to working under manager Mark Robson.

“I’m a mixed bag, really,” he told the club’s official website. “I’m a bit of battling midfielder, who likes a tackle, but at the same time I have a creative side.

“I’m quite strong and I have a lot of energy, so could play either box-to-box or as a holding midfielder. “Either would suit me fine, but it’s up to the Head Coach where he wants to utilise me.

“Charlton was a good environment and one of the things I learnt from there was how to approach all my training and matches with a professional attitude.

“I was captain at every level, up to the First Team, so that is something I will take with me for the rest of my career.”
