Transfer news: Carlo Ancelotti does not want to lose Mamadou Sakho
Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is surprised by Arsenal target Mamadou Sakho’s outburst regarding leaving the club.
The 22-year-old said he wanted to leave the club if he fails to be first choice with the Gunners interested in the defender.
“I was a little surprised because I spoke with Mamadou at the end of last season,” Ancelotti said.
“He was worried because he hadn’t played. But he must understand that PSG will become a big club, there is a lot of competition for his place.
“I hope Mamadou accepts competition as he told me when we talked together. If a formal request to leave, it will be up to the club and the coach to make the decision.”
