Transfer news: Steven Pienaar is set to sign for Everton
Everton manager David Moyes believes that the Toffees are closer to securing the return of Tottenham midfielder Steven Pienaar.
The South Africa international left Goodison Park to join Spurs in January 2011 but failed to break his way into Harry Redknapp’s side and returned to Merseyside last January on loan and is set to make that move permanent.
Moyes said: “I think we are much closer to Pienaar and hopefully in time I will have something, but I don’t quite have it yet.”
