Millwall manager Kenny Jackett was delighted with the part his side played in a thrilling game against Southampton.

Liam Trotter gave the Lions the lead before Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert hit back for the Saints.

However, Dany N’Guessan levelled before Liam Feeney won it for the south London club in stoppage time.

“It was an excellent game,” he said. “We played our part. We caused them lots of problems.

“I think both sides went for it and from a neutral’s point of view I am sure it was an excellent game.”

The Lions will face Bolton at The Den on February 18.
