Millwall boss Kenny Jackett was delighted after Andy Keogh scored his first goal for the club against Brighton, after joining from Wolves on transfer deadline day.

The 25-year-old bagged the opener against the Seagulls before former team-mate Sam Vokes equalised.

Liam Feeney looked to have given the south London club the win but Kazenga Lua Lua equalised late on to rescue a point for his side.

“Andy had a great chance to put us two up shortly before Vokes equalised and it was a key moment but he had a great game,” Jackett said.

“I’m pleased because we caused Brighton problems and we come away from the game with a lot of positives. I’m frustrated that we didn’t get the win having led twice, but the performance in general was an encouraging one.”

“I’ve mixed feelings with the result as we played very well, both defensively and on the ball, and we caused Brighton a lot of problems.”
