Fulham star Clint Dempsey will miss the Whites’ trip to Tottenham on Sunday.

Dempsey has picked up a groin injury so will miss the final game of what has been a wonderful season for the American, where he has scored 23 goals in 45 games.

“Clint is injured so he won’t play on Sunday,” confirmed manager Martin Jol. “He’s got a problem with his left abductor so he won’t be involved.”

The west Londoners are also missing Bryan Ruiz (foot), Dickson Etuhu (knee) and Steve Sidwell (hernia) on his first return to White Hart Lane.

Alex Kacaniklic is also a doubt after dropping out of training today with a hamstring problem.

Squad: Schwarzer, Stockdale, Kelly, Riise, Hangeland, Hughes, Baird, Briggs, Senderos, Murphy, Duff, Kacaniklic, Kasami, Frei, Pogrebnyak, Dembele, Sa, Johnson.
