Bexley NHS staff are preparing to take on volunteer roles during the Paralympic Games.
Stop smoking advisor Harinder Sadhu, Dr Ricky Gondhia and health advisor Pascale Berthellet have been training hard for the event which begins on August 29.
Mrs Berthellet said: “It is a fantastic experience and a great opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. The whole team is very cheerful and helpful.”
Dr Gondhia is also preparing for a role in the Paralympics opening ceremony.
Bexley health analyst Elizabeth Marchant, 27, will be able to pass on tips having performed at the Olympics opening ceremony.
A Welling man is one of nine who have been charged with violent disorder in connection with the trouble which marred Millwall Football Club’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on April 13.
