More than 50 youngsters took part in an event titled Health Factor at Hall Place in Bourne Road, Bexley on Tuesday of last week (August 14) which aimed to give them a say in how services are delivered locally.

It was led by Bexley Clinical Commissioning Group, who will be responsible for giving out health care budgets from next April 1.

The group’s chairman Dr Howard Stoate said: “The best time to safeguard against ill health is before it occurs.

“We need to listen to young people and what they have to say because they often have different priorities and concerns compared to adults and the elderly.”
