Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservatives Association members held their annual fundraising event, the Summer Garden Party on Saturday June 11.

The party took place in the ladies chairman, Shelia Vickers’ garden in Bexleyheath, and saw attendees, including MP David Evennett and his wife Marilyn, council leader Teresa O’Neill, association political deputy chairman councillor Brad Smith, and association president Bernard Clewes, enjoy tea, sandwiches, scnones with jam and cream and other homemade cakes.

The event was organised by association social deputy chairman, Maureen King, as a way to fundraise and socialise.

Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservatives chairman Mark Brooks gave a short speech before a raffle took place.
