Bexley Civic Offices, in Bexleyheath, will be hosting the annual Bexley Business Awards on Thursday, January 25.

Building on the huge success of the 2017 programme, the borough’s prestigious awards – the sixth annual event celebrating the successes and achievements of Bexley’s vibrant business community - will feature all-new and revamped categories, including a new Award for Excellence in Culture, Sport & Leisure.Guests at the launch will also hear details of the spectacular black-tie Gala awards dinner in June.

Welcoming this year’s programme, founding sponsor, London Borough of Bexley, is urging local businesses to take advantage of the tremendous opportunities offered by entering these highly sought-after awards.Councillor Linda Bailey, the council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Growth, commented: “The 2018 Awards will be the biggest and best yet, reflecting their growing prestige and popularity.

I’m delighted to hear about the fresh new categories and exciting plans for the Gala Awards Dinner, which will allow us to celebrate the amazing growth and success of the local business community.”

The Bexley Awards are designed to celebrate the very best of the borough’s enterprising businesses.

The free-to-enter programme involves a robust and impartial two-stage entry process across more than a dozen different business categories.

There are 12 awards in total which cover many different areas, from Best Employer of the Year, to Customer Service Award and Business Commitment to Education and Skills.

The winners, including the overall Bexley Business of the Year, will be exclusively announced at the glittering Gala Awards Dinner.

Event organisers, White Label Creative, are once again delighted to welcome online supermarket Ocado as headline sponsor for the third year running. Ocado are currently completing work on a massive new Customer Fulfillment Centre at Erith.

The free launch event, which will feature drinks and canapes, will be held from 6pm to 8pm.

There are still many opportunities to sponsor the Awards, either the categories or the Gala Awards Dinner.
