A Bexleyheath man has been sentence to six years in prison for his role in a large drugs production network.
Quang Dang Nguyen, 28, of Lynsted Close, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court last Friday (September 7). He had pleaded guilty.
Nguyen was arrested following an investigation led by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
Det Insp Eddie Fox said: “Nguyen was the directing mind in the criminal enterprise. He largely funded the operation and arranged for people to work within the cannabis farms themselves.
“This was an organised drugs network which officers were able to bring down.”
A Welling man is one of nine who have been charged with violent disorder in connection with the trouble which marred Millwall Football Club’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on April 13.
