A meeting in Bexleyheath next Wednesday has been organised by Greenwich and Bexley Trade Council (GBTC) to drum up interest for a march against government cuts on October 20.

Speakers will include Erith and Thamesmead MP Teresa Pearce and Alex Chase of GBTC.

It is principally looking at the future of South London Healthcare Trust, which includes Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup and was placed into administration in July.

It takes place the Boys Brigade Hall in The Broadway at 7.30pm. The march next month starts at Victoria Embankment in central London at 11am.
