The incident happened last week

Officers have released images of two men they would like to speak to after a pensioner’s home was burgled last week.

Last week two burglars are said to have posed as police officers to trick their way into an 87-year-old man’s home in Halfway Street, Sidcup.

Once inside, the burglars are said to have “ransacked” the pensioner’s home.

The incident is said to have taken place in the late evening on Thursday, July 20.

Following the burglary, police have launched a public appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson from Bexley Police said: “If you live in, or nearby the location, please check your CCTV system in case you have any further images of the suspects involved.

“Any information please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
