A RAPIST cab driver is being sued by his victims for compensation.

Victims of John Worboys, 51, from Rotherhithe, are preparing a civil claim for damages against him.

The former stripper was jailed last month after he was convicted of attacking 12 women, including one from Eltham.

He was also convicted of raping one in the back of his cab after drugging them with spiked drinks.

The victims hope to receive thousands of pounds in compensation from his assets including his homes and savings.

This comes after the trial judge gave the victims proceeds from the sale of the £5,000 black cab and £3,680 in cash seized by police.
