An 18-year-old who fell to her death from a 17th floor flat in Woolwich has been formally identified as Shanice Paris-Goff from Orpington.
The teen, also known as Sherise Steabler, was a convicted robber who was sentenced to three years in jail in 2009.
She was released from prison in 2011 but was wanted for recall after breaking the terms of her parole.
Police visited the flat in Mulgrave Road on Tuesday for a planned arrest and were allowed entry to the property.
Shortly after the officers walked in, she fell from a bedroom window.
Police said initial information suggests that she was in the room alone. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 19-year-old man was arrested by officers on suspicion of assisting an offender and was taken to a south London police station.
He has now been bailed to return in early June pending further inquiries.
An inquest will open and adjourn on Tuesday 17 April at Greenwich Coroner’s Court.
Next of kin and the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has been informed.
