A jury panel was selected today in the trial of three schoolboys accused of killing a 16-year-old school boy after he got off as bus in Welling.
They will return to the Old Bailey tomorrow to be sworn in and for the case to start.
Yemurai Kanyangarara died on July 1 last year when he was stabbed after getting off a bus in Upper Wickham Lane.
He was a pupil at St Columba’s Catholic Boys’ School in Halcot Avenue, Bexleyheath, and lived in Belvedere. He died of a wound to his neck.
Two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, deny murder.
A Welling man is one of nine who have been charged with violent disorder in connection with the trouble which marred Millwall Football Club’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on April 13.
