Two Plumstead policemen in court on theft charges

Two police officers based at Plumstead station are due to stand trial charged with stealing from the Met.

PC Kenneth Potter, 29, and PC Ian Scouler, 45, appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court yesterday and were committed to face trial at Southwark Crown Court on April 11.

PC Potter entered no plea and PC Scouler pleaded no guilty.

The pair were charged on January 26 following an investigation and have since been suspended.

The case has been sent for trial at.
