Danson Splash Park in Danson Road originally closed with the splash park in Woolwich Road, Belvedere, as part of measures to tackle the drought.
Bexley council had originally been told by Thames Water that it would be illegal for the facilities to remain open.
However, a spokesman for Thames Water confirmed this week that the council had been “misinformed” and the parks could open.
It is hoped that the Danson centre may be able to open tomorrow (Thursday May 31) as all the equipment is in place and ready to use.
Belvedere Splash Park could reopen on Friday June 8 after the plant and equipment has been commissioned, cleaned, chlorinated and tested by a specialist contractor. For more details call 020 3045 4894.
