The dates for this year’s Danson Festival were announced today.

Hundreds of artists, musicians and performers will flock to Danson Park in Bexleyheath on July 6 and 7. Last year around 30,000 people attended the free festival despite atrocious weather conditions.

Visitors have a host of opportunities to get involved in the environmental and community areas as well as the sports zone. You can also take to Danson Lake with free sailing sessions or literally get away from it all in the Sub Aqua display.

Last year The Hoosiers, who have had two top 10 singles in the UK, were the headline act.

At the heart of the show is the local community and if you have an undiscovered talent, no matter how obscure, the organisers would love to hear from you.

If you would like to be considered send an email, DVD, CD or anything that describes what you do to

To keep updated visit The festival will be free to attend.
