As the closing date approaches, it has been confirmed that the finale of the awards programme, the 6th annual Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on June 27, will be held in a glittering marquee in the grounds of Hall Place.

The decision to move to the new location is due to the overwhelming demand for tickets to last year’s event.

The new, larger venue will accommodate 300 guests at the prestigious and much-anticipated awards evening.

Cllr Linda Bailey, cabinet member for regeneration and growth, said: “The marquee at Hall Place will provide a wonderful new and bigger setting for this year’s Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony.

“It also demonstrates just how much the awards programme has grown in reputation and popularity, in line with the tremendous growth opportunities for businesses in Bexley.

“I look forward to celebrating with Bexley’s brilliant business community at Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony in June.”

The 2018 Bexley Business Excellence Awards are open to all businesses in the borough, and feature 14 free-to-enter categories, including a new award for excellence in Culture, Sport and Leisure.
