Delays continue after QEII Bridge closed for a short time earlier this morning

The QEII Bridge in Dartford was closed for a short period this moring due to a police incident, causing continued delays.

Traffic was diverted via the ‘Hollow Triangle’ route via the Blackwall Tunnel after the bridge was closed at around 9.50am.

It was reopened shortly after, but delays remain on the clockwise approach towards the bridge, as well as on the anticlockwise approach between Junction 2 and the Dartford Tunnel.

Delays in surrounding areas are also expected.
