Businesses have just days left to apply for this year’s Bexley Business Awards.

Sponsors behind the awards’ Commitment to the Community category, Jennings & Barrett, are urging businesses to put their names forward.

“Our community needs good local businesses in order to thrive, and that thriving communities are a good place to do business,” said director of the sales and lettings specialists, Joanna Bould.

“We have been a part of the Bexley community, and doing business here for over 100 years, and we believe businesses who are committed to the local community need to be celebrated.”

Now in their fifth year, the awards feature more than a dozen categories, all of which are free to enter.

Firms can put their names forward as many times as they like before closing date on March 17.

Ms Bould added: “We were first involved with the Bexley Business Excellence Awards in 2014, when we won the category for the best employer for apprentices.

“We have found supporting young people coming into employment an exciting and positive process and enjoy watching them flourish.”

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.

Who wouldn’t love the chance to go on a shopping spree. Imagine being able to walk into a shop and choose whatever your heart desires without having to worry about how much it costs.
