Erith and Thamesmead MP Teresa Pearce has expressed anger at perceived preferential treatment Conservatives are receiving from the Health Secretary over South London Healthcare Trust’s administration.
Labour’s Teresa Pearce complained after Andrew Lansley briefed three MPs from his party but not the Labour politicians affected.
Mrs Pearce said: “Andrew Lansley briefed James Brokenshire, David Evennett and Jo Johnson on June 25, the night he broke the news.
“I asked his office the following day if he would make time to speak to the other MPs affected - myself, Clive Efford and Nick Raynsford.
“We were told his diary secretary would be in touch. We are still waiting. Why are my constituents not worthy of having their MP briefed?”
