Two teenagers have organised a concert, ranging from musical theatre, to swing, to pop and classical, in aid of a children’s charity.
Tomorrow’s (3) concert at the Queen Street Baptist Church, Queen Street, Erith, at 7.30pm, has been organised by Scott Godfrey and Natasha Kissane, both aged 19 from Erith, who met at a music centre when they were eight-years-old.
They met at Bexley Music Centre, now called Bird College in Station Road, Sidcup, where they both sang in junior and youth choirs. Mr Godfrey said: “Natasha and I are doing the concert in aid of the National Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Children, as we believe that it’s a worthy cause that could always benefit from more funding. People, and we are included in this, often take what a good and safe childhood they have for granted, often forgetting that others childhoods are filled with hurt, danger and violence. I work in a school myself, so I am passionate about the safeguarding of children, and Natasha always wanted to donate when she was younger, but was never old enough, or could never afford to donate.”
Tickets are £5 and £4 for concessions. For tickets call Mr Godfrey on 07906210560 or email scottgodfrey@msn.com

I've heard a few of the performers who are to appear in this show before, and if the rest are half as good this will be an amazing night! Incredible talent to be heard here folks!
