The 25-year-old, who went to what is now Harris Academy Falconwood, brought along her silver medal to show excited youngsters at Blackheath Judo Club on Wednesday of last week (August 15).

Mick Murphy, who was her first coach, said: “It went really well and the kids obviously enjoyed it.

“It was really fantastic, an evening to remember. Everyone wanted to get their hands on her medal - it’s not everyday you get your hands on an Olympic medal!”
