Gang crime officers brought in to investigate sound of gunshots around Sidcup

The incident happened on Tuesday, November 7

Shots were fired down a residential street in Sidcup this week.

Officers from Trident Gang Crime Command have been brought in to investigate the incident, which saw a window damaged in Mallard Walk on Tuesday at around 11.20pm.

No injuries were reported following the gunshots.

A spokesperson from Met Police said: “We were called at 11.18pm on Tuesday, November 7, to reports of shots fired in Mallard Walk, Sidcup.

“Trident officers are investigating.”

Scotland Yard announced there had been no arrests so far, though enquiries continue.
