A CLUTCH of big-name authors will be meeting fans to sign copies of their new offerings.

Bestselling children's author Michele Paver will be at Waterstones in Bluewater to launch the final book in his Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series this Sunday.

Another author who has his works read widely by youngsters, Robert Muchamore, will be there the following Saturday to sign copies of his novel Brigands MC.

On Thursday, September 10, domestic goddess Nigella Lawson will be promoting her latest cookery book.

The much-loved international bestselling food writer, broadcaster and journalist will be signing copies of Nigella Express from 6pm.

Comedian and TV personality Michael Palin will be promoting his diaries on Friday, September 18, from 12.30pm.

The new book from the enormously popular actor, travel writer and TV presenter is called Halfway to Hollywood.
