The event was due to take place on Sunday and has been moved to Sunday September 23.

It will still be held at Bostall Heath playing fields in Abbey Wood and will feature rides, stalls, a vintage village, live bands, cakes and refreshments.

Head of fundraising Stacey Lewis said: “Unfortunately due to the continuing poor weather and a gloomy forecast, we have taken the decision to postpone the fun day.

“We have been heartened by the response of all our volunteers and stall holders and their commitment to support us on the rescheduled day.”
