Police are treating the fire on Monday which ripped through flats above shop on Deptford Bridge in Greenwich as arson.

Around 30 fire fighters and six fire engines attended the blaze close to Greenwich High Road at 2.43pm and managed to get it under control by 4.40pm.

The first and second floors of the three storey building were destroyed as well as the roof.

Nobody was injured.
