Hall Place has once again been given the Green Flag Award for parks and gardens.

The Bexley Heritage property has been given the award every year since it began in 1996 and officially received the news of its continued success today.

It is one of only five places nationwide to have been honoured every year.

Estate manager for the Tudor mansion Tony Nield said: “Winning an award involves many members of staff. Out success since it began is down to the team.”

Green Flag judges said: “Hall Place and Gardens which is well-used and loved by many visitors.

“A strong, supportive and dedicated team of staff and volunteers make the visit a memorable occasion.”

The announcement coincided with the start of Love Parks Week, which begins on Saturday and runs until the following Sunday (July 21 to 29).
