Help to nominate Bexley police officers for outstanding bravery award

PUBLISHED: 09:56 06 January 2014 | UPDATED: 09:56 06 January 2014

Residents have until Sunday to help recognise the bravery of police officers last year.

Officers in Bexley could be in the running for the Outstanding Bravery of the Year award.

Nominations from across the Met Police have already been made for officers who foiled an armed robbery and braved a freezing lake to rescue a woman.

The award is part of the Met Police Commissioner’s Excellence in Total Policing awards.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony on January 22 and nominations close at midnight on Sunday.
