UPDATE: Motorcyclist injured after crash on A2 near Danson Interchange

The crash happened earlier this morning

Motorists faced delays on the Londonbound A2 this morning (Monday) after a crash between a car and a motorbike.

Police were called to East Rochester Way between the Danson Interchange and Falconwood just after 7am following reports of the crash.

Lanes two and three of the A road were temporarily closed, with London Ambulance Service paramedics also at the scene.

The motorcyclist is thought to have suffered a minor injury to his hand.

A spokesperson from London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7am today (July 10) to reports of a road traffic collision on the A2 in Dartford.

“We sent an ambulance to the scene.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took them to hospital.”

No arrests were made following the crash.
