The Kent County Show on July 6, 7 and 8 is launching #dontloseyourbottle, a plastic recycling initiative in collaboration with Kent Wildlife Trust to encourage visitors to recycle their plastics at the show.

For 2018, more recycling points have been installed across the showground to make recycling easier for visitors.

Kent Wildlife Trust also has a recycling point on their stand where visitors can swap their plastic bottles for a small gift.

Show manager Lucy Hegarty said: “single use plastics have a real impact on our environment and we want to help reduce this at the Kent County Show.

“Our campaign will make recycling at the show easier for visitors and we hope that everyone will join us in this important effort to look after our environment.”

Tickets for the Kent County Show can still be purchased by either calling the ticket hotline on 01622 633060 or by visiting www.kentshowground.co.uk/visit/buy-your-ticket
