Up to 10 activities a day are being put on across the week

An affordable fitness programme in Thamesmead is launching a new weekly fitness schedule this week, including exercising using glow-sticks.

Clubbercise, a new fitness trend encourages movement in a disco-inspired environment, and is the latest addition to the Now’s the Time fitness project created between Bexley Council, Sport England, the Royal Borough of Greenwich and local housing groups.

Last year more than 1500 people had taken part in more than 8000 hours of £1 fitness activities as it celebrated its first anniversary.
