MORE than 100 young dancers from across Kent are to star alongside professionals from the English Youth Ballet.

MORE than 100 young dancers from across Kent are to star alongside professionals from the English Youth Ballet.

Dozens of schools are involved in the project, including Bromley High School, Biggin Hill Junior School, Dartford Grammar School for Girls, Chislehurst and Sidcup, Townley Grammar School for Girls, Bexleyheath, and Dartford Technology College.

The dance stars were busy rehearsing last Thursday at Cleeve Park Secondary School, Sidcup, for the production of Coppelia at The Churchill, Bromley, which is due to take place next Friday and Saturday.

The cast, who are aged between eight and 18, will perform a full length version of the ballet with principal artists from London taking the leading roles.
