A new builders’ warehouse branch opened this month

A new business recently set up in Crayford has brought 50 jobs to the town with it.

Selco Builders Warehouse on Kennet Road opened this month, the 29th in around London.

Chief executive Chris Cunliffe said: “Opening in Crayford will be of great benefit to the local economy and it is giving people the chance to join a company with fantastic opportunities for career progression

“Selco’s recruitment policy has always been to employ those from the branch’s local community and that is continuing in Crayford.

“Our aim is to give fantastic career opportunities to people, while allowing them to extend their skillset at Selco.

“The branch will also provide a further boost to tradesmen in and around Crayford and London, as they will be able to enjoy the benefits Selco provides – unrivalled availability, with the widest range of products in stock, as well as excellent customer service and straight trade pricing.”

While the branch is already open, an official opening is due to take place on Tuesday.

Having a brand new kitchen is something that lots of people want but can only dream of. Sadly keeping up to date and making our living spaces as nice as they can be is a costly and incredibly stressful business. Even a fresh coat of paint makes all the difference but isn’t easy or quick.
